community its founder and senior consultant, Jurg W. Mattman, CPP.
Mr.
Mattman's impressive background and experience makes him one of
the most qualified expert witnesses in the areas of Premises Liability
and Workplace Violence.

of Expertise: Crowd Control and Crowd Management Special Event Security,
including Concerts and Rave Clubs and Special Venue functions, Sporting
Events, Workplace Violence, and Premises Liability.
Mr.
Mattman is a nationally recognized expert in security and crowd
control as they relate to claims of inadequate security and security
negligence at Special Events, including concerts, nightclubs, sporting
events and other related activities. He co-authored "Premises
Security and Liability - A Comprehensive Guide from the Experts."
In addition he is one of the most respected experts on Workplace
Violence, having co-authored and edited The Complete Workplace
Violence Prevention Manual.
Mr.
Mattman has been retained to assist plaintiff's or defense counsels
in well over 300 litigations and has testified at deposition, arbitration,
or trial in both Federal and State Courts. (California, Nevada,
Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, Illinois, Texas, Pennsylvania, Delaware,
Massachusetts)
Mr.
Mattman has over 30 years experience in security design, implementation,
evaluation and administration, risk identification and systems operation.
His professional career includes over 18 years in federal law enforcement
with the United States Secret Service and the Immigration and Naturalization
Service. Since 1980, he has conducted security assessments and designed
security and workplace violence prevention programs throughout the
United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, and South America. Major
projects in the Special Events area include designing and implementing
security for the 1984 Olympic Torch Relay, HandsAcrossAmerica, and
the recent fifty-state tour of the Bill-of-Rights.
